Anaheim Mixed-Use

The 11-acre property is located at the northeast corner of Ball Road and Harbor Boulevard in the city of Anaheim, California one block north of the Disneyland Resort area that includes Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure, Downtown Disney, the Anaheim Convention Center and the surrounding Hotel District. The proposed project concept includes the development of a mixed-use project that promotes a distinct and vibrant village organized around streets, parks, plazas, and/or small squares that act and function more like an urban district than a single project. As envisioned, the proposed development will include a predominant “Town Green” that will anchor a two-block-long “main street” lined with a mix of retail and residential spaces that promote “live/work” and “convenient commercial” lifestyles. A residentially oriented neighborhood park is also planned as a focal point to the project’ on-grade residential product.

The goal of the design is to create a sense of place as an urban town square. By mixing the buildings and uses both vertically and horizontally the various uses will be linked by open air streets, pedestrian connections, parks and squares. For most, this means a place to relax, shop, or meet a friend for coffee and a stroll along a sunny, tree lined street.
